ACP on Saturday, January 15: We had 39 AZOT racers for the second race of our Spring Series. Race 4’s full gate had 21 Intermediate and 5 Novice; then Race 18’s gate was 7 Master and 6 Expert. So when’s the last time you saw 21 Intermediate or 7 Master on the gate … years ago? Take a look at that photo of the practice line – wow!! What’s the Big Deal About The International Race? Are you tired of spending all day to get a few minutes on the track a couple of times, then go home with energy left? ACP on Saturday, December 11: Great turnout for the last race of the Fall Series – total of 36 AZOT racers! We had 5 Master, 9 Expert (way to go, guys … we called and you showed up), 14 Intermediate and 8 Novice. Despite several frustrating challenges – racing a last-minute borrowed bike due to a serious engine problem, scouting for a missing lever, a couple of broken spokes, pushing an ankle injury - they all made it to their gates. Then no major injuries, just a few ego tweaks with sliding out, getting hung up in the gate, dirt...

2021, December, Meeting, Race - Posted on

Happy December!  After a brief break we are ready to finish off the AZOT fall series with round 9 on Saturday December 11 at Arizona Cycle park.  Gates open at 7:00, practice starts at 9:00. Register for the race here! There is still quite a bit of drama in the Fall Series:  In the Master Class, Tee Stefaniac leads, but Ricky Arnold and Ryan Pedigo can each add one more race to their best 7, while Tee can only improve on a previous score because he already has 7 counting.  Brian Sharp does pretty well on the Vet-X track and may play a spoiler role. ...
