First race of the Fall 2022 Series  -  9-25-22 at Canyon Talk about a “hot lap” … they were all hot!  The start of the AZOT Fall Series sure felt more like summer in the Valley!   But that didn’t stop 29 tough guys from showing up to race … and two of them even double classed.  After finishing his AZOT Expert class in Race 7, Troy Lang returned to the gate for Race 9 in the Vet Intermediate class.  Ditto for Rick Arnold – ran the AZOT Master class in Race 7, then Vet Open in Race 19.  And...

ACP on Saturday, December 11: Great turnout for the last race of the Fall Series – total of 36 AZOT racers! We had 5 Master, 9 Expert (way to go, guys … we called and you showed up), 14 Intermediate and 8 Novice. Despite several frustrating challenges – racing a last-minute borrowed bike due to a serious engine problem, scouting for a missing lever, a couple of broken spokes, pushing an ankle injury - they all made it to their gates. Canyon - Sunday, November 21: Total of 23 racers: 3 Master, 4 Expert, 10 Intermediate and 6 Novice. Race 3 featured some heated battles! Ryan Pedigo (#328) held off Rick Arnold (#97) and Tee Stefaniak (#49), but then a last lap bobble from Pedigo allowed Rick to take over - another exciting Master show to the very end. Second moto Ryan jumped out to the front position and maintained it, despite Tee’s hot pursuit. Unfortunately, Rick had to leave for an emergency so he wasn’t there to compete. Motoland - Sunday, Nov 14: On to day 2 of the double header weekend, we shared the newly extended Vet track with the AVDRA group – getting Race 7 - so we had a chance to watch the vintage bikes on the track. Of our 22 racers, we had 4 Master, still only 2 Experts, 10 Intermediate and 6 Novice.
